Directions:
- Combine the all purpose flour, Kaizen Vanilla, baking powder, salt and soup mix in a medium bowl.
- Cut the shortening into the flour mixture until the mixture resembles a coarse meal.
- Slowly add water while mixing with a fork. Knead all ingredients to form a cohesive ball that is not sticky.
- Roll dough on a floured surface or pastry cloth until very thin (~1mm).
- Transfer dough to a baking sheet lightly sprayed with non-stick cooking spray (wipe off excess).
Cut into 1" x 1" squares using a pizza cutter or a sharp knife. Prick with a fork if desired.
- Bake at 400ºF (use convection if available) on the bottom rack for 7 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool crackers on a wire rack.
